The Children’s Education program at All Souls is held each Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 10:45 a.m., when the children join the congregation for Holy Eucharist. We meet in the Rankin Room. The program is intended for children ages 3 and older, but younger children are welcomed with a parent. Older children will often serve as our helpers.
The program is designed to work as a “children’s chapel time” – the children take part in all of the same aspects of worship that their parents do, in a format structured just for them. We open with singing, hear the word of the Lord proclaimed, share our thoughts on the Gospel message, affirm our faith in a creed, pray for others, and confess our sins. All of this in a lively and fun-loving environment that is great for all ages!
