A message from our Rector
The twelve days of Christmas have passed and we have entered the season of Epiphany. Epiphany means "manifestations" and specifically manifestations of God. Epiphanies are what you have on mountaintops or in thos moments with things come together in some new brilliant way.
We will, in our Gospel readings, walk with Jesus and those who followed him from the powerful manuifestion of God at Jesus' baptism to his time on the mountaintop as God's glory surrounds him before he heads to Jerusalem.
Wherever you are in your own spiritual journey, we hope you will join us for worship and ministry because these too are settings where epiphanies happen. Jesus used the daily grist of our lives to highlight how the kingdom of God might come among us and so we can expect that epiphanies can happen in the normal course of our weekly lives, but especially when we present ourselves to God. We welcome all souls to All Souls'.
All Souls' is one of those well hidden secrets in plain view. Our architacture does not shout out "Church! Church!" but there is a rich spiritual life here as well as many opportunities for service. We at All Souls' are intentional about building up our spiritual capacities through worship, study, and compassionate service to our community and world.
A ll Souls' is a wonderful community of people who gather regularly for the sustenance that worship offers for meeting the challenges daily life presents. That nourishment also enlivens a spirit of service and education among our parish family. If you are seeking a warm faith community where you are allowed to grow at your own pace and offered a variety of opportunities to discover what God is calling your life to become; we invite you to come join us at All Souls'.
