Music at All Souls'

Over the last fifty years, we have been blessed with a succession of rectors, organists, choirmasters and talented parishioners. They have embraced our Anglican musical heritage while augmenting it with some of the finest aspects of music from other origins. This has resulted in a liturgical experience and special programs that are only experienced in some of the very largest congregations.

G eoffrey Graham was appointed Organist-Choirmaster in May 2005. He was trained at Westminster Choir College at Princeton and has pursued further studies in France, Denmark and the Netherlands. He has performed from coast to coast and at many locations in Western Europe.

As the music director of All Souls', Geoff's responsibilities include those of choir director and organist of the Baroque Fritts-Richards Opus V tracker pipe organ, which was completed in 1985. The choir of All Souls' is composed of a loyal ensemble of volunteer parishioners.

In 1998, All Souls' gratefully accepted the gift of an endowment by a parishioner. The endowment serves two purposes: first, for organ concerts to be offered to the general public so that the fine organ of All Souls' can be enjoyed by a wide audience; and, secondly, for the enhancement of worship music. Accordingly, Geoff, in his capacity as Concerts Manager, organizes a varied and delightful series of musical presentations.
